Imaginary Dungeon
Welcome to this little game made for the Brackeys 2022 game jam.
This is a little shoot-em up game where you play as a little bean defending itself from ghosts, the illuminati and evil hands. You live in the complex plane and can multiply your position with i. Collect score multipliers and get the highest score possible!
Controls:
Movement: wasd / arrow keys
Multiply with i: Hold right-click to preview, release to confirm or hold shift while releasing to cancel
Shooting: Left-click

The art, music and scripts were all made by me
The game engine is Unity,
For the art I used LibreSprite,
And for the music FL Studio 20

Install instructions
Download the zip file, unzip it, and then double-click the Imaginary Dungeon.exe file.

Great music and juicy effects/gameplay. I like the premise of interpreting the theme as going with imaginary numbers, but in practice transforming my position just felt like I had to move close to the middle so that I wouldn't be going off screen.
I also made a roguelike for the jam, you should check it out. :)
